Fish Surveys
Welcome to the Chichester Harbour Conservancy surveys of the fish population of Chichester Harbour.
These surveys were conducted in 1999 and 2004 by Dr. Paul Farrell of the University of Portsmouth Institute of Marine Sciences.
Please use the navigation buttons to the right to view the data collected in these surveys. You can choose one of the following options -
Search by Location
This will allow you to choose one of the seven site locations from Dr. Farrell's survey (only five were used in the 1999 survey.) A list will be displayed showing which fish species populated that area and in what quantities.
Search by Fish Species
Choose one of the fish species that have been caught during the surveys, and see how many of that particular species were found at each of the sampling locations.
