Booking informationTo book any of the services we offer – field trips, road shows, solar boat, sea chests, etc. please contact us initially by phone or email (see below).
We will discuss your requirements, agree dates and if appropriate either arrange a pre-visit for you to meet us and see the venue, or send you a draft programme for your comments.
Supporting information; worksheets, background details, risk assessments etc.; are sent by post or email with the draft programme. Guidelines for visitors can be viewed or downloaded from the Health Safety and Risk Assessment page.
Early booking is advised, particularly for the summer term.
Invoices are sent out afterwards; there are no advance booking fees to pay. Field trips are priced on the number of pupils or students attending on the day – so please let us know exactly how many you bring with you!
We are open Monday to Friday 9-5, however we may be out teaching so please leave a message if there is no answer.

GET AFLOAT! Fund
The GET AFLOAT! Fund is a new fund to help disadvantaged children and adults to GET AFLOAT in Chichester Harbour. Local businesses have been asked to sponsor trips and we aim to raise enough money to provide up to 10 free trips per year on the Solar Heritage for groups that qualify.
The free trips will be available to schools and groups that otherwise wouldn't be able to afford to go afloat. These will include schools in deprived areas or those with a high level of special needs pupils. Adults with special needs will also be able to apply for a free trip.
Please call us to enquire if any trips are currently available under this scheme.
