A new footpath suitable for wheelchairs has been opened linking the Itchenor car park to the foreshore. The path was opened on Friday 1 July by Val Davis, the path is dedicated to Lt Col John Davis. It starts at the far end of the Itchenor car park where there are now 3 dedicated disabled parking spaces. It comes out by Northshore yachts linking directly to the wheelchair path that runs to a viewpoint opposite Cobnor.
