CHANGES TO NAVIGATIONAL MARKS AT BLACK POINT
1. Mariners are advised that the unlighted East Cardinal Beacon immediately to the north of Hayling Island Sailing Club no longer has navigational significance and has been re-designated as a Special Mark. The East Cardinal day shape has been removed and replaced with a yellow cross. The tide gauge on the pile remains in place.
2. Mariners are further advised that the unlighted starboard hand buoy located at the entrance to Mengeham Channel, opposite the Hayling Island Sailing Club jetty, has been upgraded and its position moved approximately 20m East and is now in position:
