A romp through the early history of Chichester Harbour through fun activities involving worked flints, a Roman ship, Canute’s throne and King Harold’s crown. Some of this event will include going outside so bring outdoor gear and wellies too. In partnership with Chichester District Museum. Safety briefing 10am prompt. Parking next to the Lifeboat station, or make a walk of it enjoying the splendid views around the entrance to Chichester Harbour by leaving your car in the pay and display car park in Southwood Road.

Be inspired by Chichester Harbour and the guidance of professional sculptors Ganesh and Elaine Kings to create a work of art with driftwood. Start collecting driftwood now (store it in a dry place). Tools and natural dowling will be available along with extra driftwood and completed sculptures for inspiration. You should bring a board upon which to take your sculptures home. Bring a packed lunch. Fee £15 per person to include refreshments.
