Harbour Dues

Check the table below to find out the cost of your harbour dues then complete the Application Form and submit it with your payment to the Harbour Office. Applications can also be made over the phone on 01243 512301.

All vessels using Chichester Harbour MUST pay harbour dues. The revenue derived from harbour dues and from mooring fees is used by the Chichester Harbour Conservancy to meet the full cost of the management of the Harbour. This covers giving advice and assistance, maintenance of navigational aids and the enforcement of byelaws. This applies if your boat is kept on a permanent mooring, in one of the marinas or if you are visiting for a week or just a day. Harbour dues are deemed not to have been paid unless the plaque is displayed.

• All dues are valid from 1 April and expire on 31 March
• All rates reduce by 50% for vessels entering the Harbour after 1st October
• All prices include VAT
• Harbour dues can be purchased at:
  o The Harbour Office, Itchenor in person, by phone or post
  o The Harbour Office, Emsworth
  o From Patrol Staff either on the hard at Itchenor or afloat
  o From most sailing clubs & marinas (visitors dues only)

Moorings

All Conservancy maintained moorings are let for 12 months from 1 April. Please see the moorings pages for details of location. Unlet moorings will be available at a reduced rate on a sliding scale of 10% per month from 1 June.

Online Payments

Existing customers can now renew their harbour dues and/or mooring payment online. You will need your owner reference number which can be found on the bottom right of the invoice which has been sent to you in the post. At present new customers need to complete and print out an application form and send it in with the payment.

Pay & Display

The penalty for non-display of your harbour dues plaque is a three times penalty and / or the possibility of your vessel being impounded. Please Pay and Display.
