Bird Watching

With more than 55,000 birds, either resident or passing through Chichester Harbour each year, you are very likely to see some birds on any visit to the Harbour.

See the Birds page for information on the types of birds you are likely to see and when they can be found.

The Enjoying Wildlife page will give you ideas for the best places to visit.

Throughout the winter months, the Conservancy organises weekly walks and bird watching boat trips where you can watch the birds with a knowledgeable guide. These activities are suitable for amateur and experienced birdwatchers.
