Some 10,000 boats share the fabulous recreational facilities of Chichester Harbour. At peak times the harbour can be congested and this can cause problems. However, the Conservancy believe that with a little thought and understanding everyone can enjoy the harbour and problems can be prevented.
Starting in 2004, the Conservancy launched a Harmony campaign in line with its policy to achieve harmony by promoting courtesy, good manners and behavious, rather than through heavy handed policing and legislation.
To this end a series of booklets have been published that we strongly encourage you to download and read. These are pdf documents and many take a few minutes to download. Hard copes are available from the Harbour Office.
If you have any particular comments or would like to arrange for a talk to your club or group please contact the Harbour Master.
