On Sunday 25 October from 11:00am, a multi-agency emergency response exercise will take place in Chichester Harbour, centred on Itchenor Hard.
The training exercise will involve the RNLI, HM Coastguard, Sussex Police, West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service, South East Coast Ambulance Service, and Chichester Harbour Conservancy Patrol Team working together to practise their response to a major incident.
Please be aware that there will be a significant presence of emergency service vehicles and personnel in the area throughout the day.
As a result:
⚠️ Access to Itchenor Hard and the jetty will still be available, but may be restricted at times during the exercise.
⚠️ Visitors are asked to avoid the area where possible and allow emergency services space to operate safely.
