Deployment of monitoring equipment
- Mariners are advised that underwater monitoring equipment marked by three yellow unlit buoys has been deployed in the western side of the Emsworth Channel.
2. The buoys are in the western side Emsworth Channel – north of Verner Port Lateral Mark in the following positions:
Lat. 50°48.218’N Long. 000°56.454’W
Lat. 50°48.135’N Long. 000° 56.434’W
Lat. 50°48.047’N Long. 000°56.399’W
3. The yellow buoys form part of the monitoring for the Solent Seascape Project oyster reef restoration. More information about the project can be found here.
4. Mariners are advised to keep clear of the buoys.
5. This notice shall remain in force until further notice.
