Management Plan Review

Public Consultation 28 May to 19 July 2013

Chichester Harbour Conservancy is currently undertaking a five-year review of the AONB Management Plan in line with the requirements of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000. The new AONB Management Plan for 2014-19 will be published in April 2014.

This consultation provides an opportunity for partners, stakeholders and the public to comment on the draft plan, and will be vital in producing the final document that will guide the management of the AONB for the next five years. Please note that the consultation draft document is provided in text format and the final document will be in full-colour designed format.

The main aim of the consultation is to record your responses to the revised policies, strategic framework and role of all organisations in delivering the plan.

Management Plan 2009-2014

The work of the Conservancy is driven by the five year Chichester Harbour AONB Management Plan.

The Chichester Harbour AONB Management Plan 2009-2014 can be viewed as a pdf document, see the Additional Downloads panel on the right.

The Management Plan is produced by the Conservancy on behalf of West Sussex and Hampshire County Councils, Chichester District and Havant Borough Council and is supported by Natural England.

Annual Progress Report

Latest Report 2011-12

Each year a Progress Report is produced detailing key achievements under each main topic within the AONB Management Plan. An Action Summary Table is included within the document showing what actions have been taken by the Conservancy and our partners for each of the Action Points identified in the Management Plan.
