DREDGE OF CHICHESTER BAR – UPDATED 15/09/2025

1. Due to adverse weather, mariners are advised that the planned commencement of the maintenance dredge of Chichester Bar has been delayed. The dredge will now commence between 1^st and 7^th October 2025 (with a +/- 7 day window) and continue for 10 days
2. Dredging operations will be undertaken by the trailing suction hopper dredger Sospan Dau 73m LOA.
3. The dredger will operate 24 hours/ day during the period, dredging material from the approaches to Chichester Harbour and depositing it on Eaststoke Beach frontage.
4. Sospan Dau will be restricted in its ability to manoeuvre during dredging operations, and mariners are requested to keep clear.
5. The dredging area, route to the disposal site and waiting area are detailed below.
6. Cancel this LNTM 30 October 2025.
