We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive Business Support Officer to provide key administrative support and help our organisation run smoothly.

About the Role

You will be responsible for co-ordination and administration of a variety of activities across the organisation, including:

  • Administering the provision of memorial plaques/ benches in the National Landscape.
  • Supporting the Executive Officer with the administration of Leases and Licenses.
  • Updating the Planning Database and providing planning application lists to Planning Team.
  • Monthly preparation of payroll under the guidance of Finance Manager.
  • Support the CEO to coordinate and manage meetings, including scheduling, preparing documents and minute-taking when required.

The role is a varied and interesting one, involved in bringing efficiency and administrative order in three key organisational areas; Document Management, HR Support and Operational Support.

About You

You will have proven experience in a business support or administrative role and strong organisational and planning skills, with a high degree of attention to details. We are looking for someone enthusiastic with a proactive approach along with good problem solving skills and the ability to apply order and logic to processes. You will also need good IT skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

A formal qualification in Business Administration is highly desirable or alternatively 3 years of relevant operational experience. Experience of administering a payroll and understanding of how statutory authorities operate is an advantage.
