Raising awareness amongst Harbour users and local communities about the pressures that are being placed on Chichester Harbour, the impact these are having on the natural environment and gaining support for the CHaPRoN initiative is a priority.
This focus area will deliver a range of communication and engagement initiatives reaching out to all the Harbour communities.
We wish to promote the benefits that society gains from our natural assets and hope that people would like to be part of the solution to help reduce the pressures and support the recovery of the Harbour environment for future generations.
We will promote everyday actions that people can take to help care for the natural environment, as well as volunteer opportunities for those who would like to be more directly involved as CHaPRoN projects progress.
