Moving forwards, funding streams are critical for CHaPRoN to enable the planning and delivery of restoration initiatives.
This focus area is therefore seeking opportunities to apply for funding to support project work. We also hope to form wider partnerships with organisations that share our ambition and support delivery of projects through investment.
Longer term, as the metrics and frameworks evolve for carbon offsetting, biodiversity net gain and nutrient neutrality schemes, we hope that these will provide green funding streams to support ongoing restorative work within the Harbour.
