1. On hot weekends travelling to West Wittering beach by car can be a nightmare. Cruise past all the traffic by using the Salterns Way - a cycle route that follows rural roads and cycle paths and leads you right down to the beach.

 2. Stop off at the shops at West Wittering to pick up picnic goodies and any last minute beach items. There is also a café and beach goods shop in the beach car park.
